So you fancy an introductory lesson to the world's fastest growing sport? Have you seen those idyllic images of paddle boarders in picturesque places?
Well you've arrived at the right place - we can guarantee to have you paddling your way into the horizon!
With the correct safety advice and instruction, standup paddleboarding is quick and easy to learn. Our instructors will first teach you the basics, then we can progress you to more advanced paddle techniques to enable you to explore our beautiful coastline on your own accord! You'll be provided with your own board and safety equipment. After a safety briefing and a basic paddle skills lesson, you'll be well on your way to begin your own paddleboarding journey!
By the time you step back to dry land, our SUP lesson should have transformed you from complete newbie to a SUP paddler! During your lesson, you'll be guided through the step-by-step guide to the easiest way to paddle, as well as learning about how winds and tides can affect us on a paddleboard. So just bring yourself, or your crew too, and some spare clothes! We also have changing rooms available for use along with secure storage for your belongings.
Our introductory lessons can host up to 10 people per session but, if you would prefer a personalised 1-2-1 session with one of our experienced instructors, we do offer bespoke 2 hour lessons for £40.00 p/p. If this is something you’re interested in, please get in touch to book your bespoke lesson.

bad weather?

We as paddleboarders are limited to wind mainly, if it looks windy for your intended date, do not worry as our instructors are eager to get you out on the water, so we will work quickly to reschedule your lesson.
We are also limited to the tide (of course!) at Hamworthy Park, which is why our lessons are at certain times. If you don't see a date that suits you, please don't hesitate to email us to find your best date.
