Two-Day Sea Kayak Adventure & Camping Trip - Poole Harbour and Beyond.

A micro-expedition for campers looking for something new. If you love the simplicity of camping, the stars, and the quiet, but you've never arrived at your campsite by kayak, this trip is designed for you. Over the two days, we will guide you through one of the most beautiful paddling environments in the UK:  Poole Harbour and its surrounding coastline.
A classic camping trip... with a sense of journey, a touch of adventure and the magic of travelling by water.

DAY 1
We will start from our base in Hamworthy on the edge of Poole Harbour. Here you will learn how to pack all of your gear into your sea kayak. A satisfying puzzle suprising you with how much space they have.  Launching into calm shallow waters makes it the perfect place for an introduction to sea kayaking skills. We will set off across the harbour, weaving between Islands and spotting the local wildlife.

As the day unfolds you'll feel the rhythm of travelling by kayak, smooth, quiet and effortless. By late afternoon, we will reach our overnight spot, a peaceful shoreline where we will set up camp.
Once everything is set up, you can settle in for a relaxed evening in good company. As the sun sets over the harbour, watch the skies produce some amazing colours and the stars appear in their formations.

DAY 2
Rise and shine, have breakfast and break camp, carefully loading your sea kayak. Day two is about exploring more of the Harbour or even a short hop out of the Harbour to give you the taste of the open sea. This will all be dependant on the tides, weather and group of course.

By the time you return to the starting point, you'll have completed a genuine mini-expedition that feels adventurous but remains accessible, supportive and achievable for anyone with a basic level of fitness and a love of the outdoors.
