The Sea Kayak Leader (Moderate Water) has been designed to show a candidate has the skill level required to lead other competent paddlers in the moderate water environment.
This training course will give you all the tools required to set you on the pathway to your assessment.
The training course covers personal paddling, tidal planning, equipment, environmental awareness and other supporting knowledge. Safety and rescue will be covered along with the leadership styles and techniques.
The pre-requisites for this are:
- Ability to paddle at the British Canoeing 3 Star Sea Level - Sea Kayak Award level.
