South Coast Adventures story began in 2021, we wanted to be a leading outdoor activities provider based in Poole Harbour, that had something for everyone. We wanted to be somewhere that was authentic, friendly and approachable.
It formed from a passion to want to show others the outdoors, and what better location than Poole Harbour. We love the outdoors, the thrill of having adventures, going places that we've never been before, meeting new people and most importantly making memories. We're very confident in our ability to teach anyone how to kayak, even if it is your first time, or you’ve done it before.
We take a lot of pride in showing others the magic of outdoor activities, especially when it's watersports. This is why we have dedicated our time here at South Coast Adventures to creating affordable, fun and exciting outdoor activities that can be enjoyed by all. From kayaking and paddleboarding to climbing and more - we're sure you will love it!
South Coast Adventures is for all abilities and ages, from individuals to groups, we offer education and excursions to meet your needs.
All of our staff at South Coast Adventures hold Outdoor Education Qualifications and our instructors clearly have a love for what they do.
Exploring Poole Harbour from the comfort of a sea kayak is an exhilarating experience. You will be able to see a lot of wildlife, which you usually wouldn’t see otherwise and admire views from a different perspective.
Our guided trips also offer a great way of accessing remote places and beaches. At Hamworthy Park, we can offer a variety of Outdoor Educational activities which allows students to learn through adventure to focus on positive outcomes that in turn, build on personal and social competence.
At South Coast Adventures we are always passionate to train and develop anyone in the outdoors, equipping them with the knowledge and safety skills needed to stay safe on the water.
We are an AALA licenced centre, and offer a variety of British Canoeing courses. These courses allow anyone to have a thorough understanding of safety on the water and improve their confidence in their skills as a paddler.
These courses are available for all abilities, from novices to instructors.
